Sorbonne Artgallery is a contemporary art gallery located in the heart of the largest French university: La Sorbonne. CRected in 2016, this gallery was carried out by the Art&Flux research team under the direction ofartist and university professorYann Tomas.
Located in the Soufflot gallery at Centre-Pantheon Sorbonne, Sorbonne Artgallery makes the heart beat of this internationally recognized institution of international knowledge with a rich and varied program.
Considered in the spirit of un artist-run-space, the gallery aims to create a circuit of artistic experiences and knowledge shared between students, professors, professionals and visitors.
With more than 21 exhibitions since its creation,Sorbonne Artgallery became known by working for the scientific valorization of art as well as the promotion of high-level research-creation. She embodies the exhibition space for artists-researchers from all over the world which invites the public to look at the world differently and elsewhere.
Sorbonne Artgallery is attached to the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne.
