Inna Kharchuk(Volhynia, Ukraine), tries to find the Ukrainian cultural code through the prism of his individual feelings. In his works, the artist explores the question of self-identification in society, as well as the themes of personal and collective memory, through his own experiences and reflections. Inna Kharchuk examines "ancestry" and "family", i.e. essential concepts in the context of events taking place in the country, which, in turn, characterize a series of works created by the artist. To create a work of art, the artist examines archival photographs of Ukrainians from different regions to fully explore not only the unique and historical Ukrainian folklore, but also the historical context at the time of the creation of the artwork. artwork.
